Our approach to assessing and supporting families
We engage in a flexible approach to the concept of parenting with an understanding that all parents will have their own values and goals, interests and desires, routines, and traditions that they wish to partake in.
Our aim is not to enforce a particular ethos or methodology on a parent and their child but to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the family while respecting and encouraging an objectively healthy implementation of parenting practices.
What we offer
We support parents in developing the skills and confidence they need to provide a safe and nurturing home for their children, contributing to stronger and more resilient communities. We believe that where families can stay together wherever possible, such interventions can prevent children from entering the care system when a viable positive alternative can be achieved.

Summer Bloom consists of experienced and qualified social workers, family support workers, and support staff with a proven track record of supporting vulnerable people through challenging circumstances.
