Welcome to Summer Bloom
Your new chapter begins here
This may be a challenging time for you and your family, so we want to offer you a safe and supportive environment where you can focus on strengthening your relationships and building a brighter future together.

What to expect on your arrival at Summer Bloom
You’ll be greeted by a member of our friendly team who will show you around and answer any questions about your accommodation. We’ll let you get settled in and advise that you bring with you, if possible:
- Important documents (ID, court orders, benefit letters, etc.)
- Clothing and toiletries for all family members
- Medications (with prescriptions)
- Comfort items for your children (toys, blankets, etc.)
- Personal items that make you feel at home
Next, we’ll talk a bit about your needs and help you develop a plan tailored to your family’s goals. This doesn’t all have to be done all at once; you may need time to adjust and to talk, and we’ll be there with you if there’s anything you’d like to share. We’ll also gently prompt you with questions where necessary to help us get to know you and your family.

Your stay at Summer Bloom
During your stay, we’ll focus on creating a safe and nurturing environment for your children while strengthening your parenting skills to improve your confidence and communication. We’ll do this by observing you throughout your day to see where you might need help.
Our observations aren’t meant to criticise you; they help us to identify areas for objective improvement so we can offer the support and encouragement needed in the best interests of your family.
Community resources and support networks might also be beneficial to you, and we’ll help you explore and access them as appropriate.
What we can achieve together
Together, we can achieve positive outcomes — but we need you to engage with us regularly so that we can support your family through the process.
Working collaboratively, we’ll provide you with assistance and guidance to develop essential parenting skills, improve family communication, and address any underlying challenges.
