Freedom Programme at Summer Bloom
The Freedom Programme empowers women who’ve experienced domestic abuse and their allies to understand patterns of abusive behaviour and make positive changes for a safer future.

What is the Freedom Programme?
The Freedom Programme is a 12-week rolling programme developed by Pat Craven. It helps women to identify and understand the beliefs and attitudes that perpetuate domestic abuse. It explores the tactics used by abusers, enabling women to recognise the signs and make informed choices for their future.
What the Freedom Programme is not:
- It isn’t couples counselling or therapy
- It does not aim to reconcile relationships
- It doesn’t tell you what to do
Who is the Freedom Programme for?
This programme is designed for women who have experienced domestic abuse, whether in a current or past relationship. It’s also suitable for those who want to learn more about the dynamics of abusive relationships to support others or for personal understanding.
